My love of the arts started early with a love of sculpture. In my forties I went back to school and recieved my BA from Marylhurst University. While enrolled I treated myself to the arts program. I dabbled in sculpture, and took a welding class at C.C.C. I have made crafts, jewellery, worked in ceramics, bronzes, glass slumping, and went on to mixed media, collages, water colors, oil and acrylics. At present I have found that I like acrylics and have pushed myself to continue making collages. I work at the Brush and Pallet weekly. I have only been in the NCAG for 3 years but find it a great environment to be inspired by other artists. Some of my artworks will be shown at First Friday in Milwaukie in May at City Hall.
