Our mission is to provide a comfortable environment in which artists can learn and benefit from each other’s skills, knowledge, and methods.  Attending our meetings is a great way to meet fellow artists - plus you can bring a painting or two and have a friendly critique of your art work.  This makes for a great learning experience! We meet every month on the 2nd Tuesday at 1 PM and again at 6:30 pm. The Critique session starts at 1 pm ( and lasts about an hour.  Bring a painting - finished or not - to get help with a problem or just see how you are doing.   After that we enjoy light refreshments, and you have a chance to meet and greet other Guild artists. About 2 PM we have a short business meeting followed by a 1-2 hour demo given by a Guild member or a guest artist.  The demos  are given by some of the best Portland area artists and should not be missed.  You are encouraged to ask questions during the demos so it is a great learning experience.
