Since 1990, Nadine has worked to improve her art skills by taking many classes and workshops, at places like Portland Community College, local community centers, and at the Sitka Art Center on the Oregon coast. Her art is mainly in the medium of watercolor, but she sometimes incorporates Chinese watercolor, ink, gouache, or colored pencil in the finished piece. Nadine's subject matter has been influenced by many years of hiking, camping and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest, as well as other states and countries. Positions she has held professionally as a floral master designer and a theatrical costumer, have also been influential regarding color, balance, and eye appeal. Most of the purchases of her work have been through auctions in several of the Midwest states, Central Washington, and Central Oregon. Nadine notes that people  in the Midwest seem especially interested in landscapes identified as Pacific Northwest locations. Nadine feels that she gains a little more knowledge with each completed work. Nadine can be reached by phone at 503-771-5294 or by email hiker97206@gmail.com Affiliations: North Clackamas Arts Guild
