Show Judge 2019

Meet our judge for 2019 NCAG Art Show and Sale

Harriet Goglin began her love of art as a child surrounded by family artists.  She perfected her oil painting at The Art Institute of Chicago, followed by a Bachelor of Science from University of Wisconsin and Master of Science at University of Oregon. Harriet headed Canby High School’s art department for 16 years–teaching oil, water color, pencil, sculpture, stained glass, costume, staging, and set design.  Then as Vice Principal she was the visionary and key driving force behind the development of the 800-seat Canby Fine Arts Center.  She was also recognized by First Lady Nancy Reagan for her contributions.  Harriet is an avid traveler, animal lover, art collector and paints for herself and others.  Her work has been displayed and sold at the Lawrence Gallery among others.
