Sharon Payne
A self-described country girl, Sharon grew up and lived near Woodburn, Oregon until she moved to the city in 1962Sharon enjoys painting with her watercolors regularly and has won numerous awards at various fairs and juried shows throughout Clackamas County. Her association with other artists in the Northwest compliments her other hobbies of traveling, photography, crafts, camping, sewing, genealogy, and gardeningSharon’s inspiration comes from her camera. She enjoys painting mainly landscapes and flowers working from the photos she has taken for reference. She loves to work with the light and great shadows and tries to include bold colors. Watercolor painting is a great hobby and it provides her with great enjoyment.
