Kathy Conrad won her first art award at age six … a foreshortened birthday cake drawn with crayons earned her a blue ribbon at a grade school art show some 58 years ago. Though Kathy continued to create art through her grade and high school years … college, marriage, children and a career put her art endeavors on hold for 27 years.
An early retirement sparked a renewed interest in the art she’d placed on the back burner so many years before.
Today, Kathy is creating still life, figurative, landscape and stylized contemporary art using soft (chalk) pastels, pencil and acrylic paints.
